This is my prep for making beef jerky. The best beef jerky is made from top round or eye of round. These are a fairly lean meat. You can make jerky from many different kinds of meat just want to make sure that it is lean and majority of the fat is trimmed off of the meat. Also you should have it sliced thinly, about 1/4″ thick and about 2-4″ wide, well that is my recommendation anyway.
